Welcome to Linthicum!  Whether you like to play outdoors, relax with a good book or spend less time commuting, Linthicum is a small town that provides many benefits for those that live here.  In 1958 with the help of the community, including members of the Woman's Club, the train station was renovated and became the first library in Linthicum.  Prior to that the community had visits from a county bookmobile every two weeks. In 1967 the library moved to the corner of Shipley and Hammonds Ferry Road. If you enjoy spending time outdoors you'll love walking or biking the scenic 12.5 mile paved BWI Bike Trail that circles the airport and passes through Morningside Stables.  Benches along the bike path offer a place to rest. For animal lovers you'll find that Morningside Stables on Andover Road is a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of the horses that reside there.  Morningside Stables offers horseback riding lessons, summer camps and boarding. There are 25 acres of fenced pastures and many trails for riding. Andover Recreation Center is a private swim and tennis club.
